How to Create an Online Lay-by

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL FOR ONLINE LAY-BY SET UP

1. Add your items to the cart, then select “View Cart” when you are ready to begin checking out.

2. Select your shipping preference; Click & Collect or Australia Wide delivery.

3. Select “Proceed to Checkout”

4. Simply fill in your personal information exactly as you would with a regular order.

5. Select “Lay-by Now for Christmas” as your payment method.

6. Click “Place Order” to continue to the Partial.ly Payment set-up screen.

7. Enter your preferred card details as the nominated payment method for your lay-by.

8. Carefully read through the contract before continuing.

9. Tick the checkbox to acknowledge that you have read, and agreed to the above contract.

10. Enter your Full Name to sign the contact, and click the “Process Down Payment” button to complete the lay-by creation. An order completion screen will then appear with your order number exactly as it would with a regular online order.

HOW TO VIEW YOUR ACTIVE PLAN/S AND MAKE EARLY (OR EXTRA) REPAYMENTS

To view your current active lay-by plans, and to make extra or early payments, follow this link;

Enter your email (the one used when placing your order) into the space provided and select continue. A prompt box will then appear stating a six digit code has been sent to your email address. Enter the six digit code in the space provided. Your active payment plans and account options will then appear. You will need to repeat these steps each time you wish to log in to your Partial.ly account.

To make an early or extra repayment, click the “Make a Payment” button next to the desired active plan, and follow the prompts.

Online Lay-by Terms and Conditions

DEPOSIT

Each new lay-by requires a 10% minimum deposit. For online lay-by’s this amount is set at the time of lay-by creation and can not be changed.

TERM

Lay-by is available on a 6-month term, depending on current lay-by promotions which may have fixed time-frames (ie Mid Year Lay-by events). Lay-by’s must be paid in full and collected by the finalisation date specified in the online Partial.ly payments contract. Lay-by’s not paid in full or collected by the specified finalisation date will be returned to stock.

PAYMENTS

Online lay-by’s use the Partial.ly Payments Plan system, and require set fortnightly repayments. At the time of lay-by creation, customers enter into a payment plan contract via the Partial.ly system. During this process, customers will be required to nominate a payment method for the lay-by, from which Partial.ly will automatically deduct the lay-by’s set fortnightly repayments, in line with the agreed contract arrangement. Rest assured, Partial.ly is a safe and secure third party provider, and all of your information will remain safe, in line with our existing security and privacy policies.

MODIFICATION

Unfortunately, online lay-by’s can not be modified at any time after initial lay-by creation.

CANCELLATION

There is no cancellation fee for lay-by’s, however if a lay-by is not paid in full or collected by the finalisation date, or payments are not made as required, resulting in the lay-by being returned to
stock, our staff reserve the right to retain 10% of the total amount of the lay-by. Lay-by’s containing Click and Collect Only Items, that have an address which is not local to our Kingaroy area, will be automatically cancelled and refunded as these items can not be posted, and must be collected in-store. If a customer lives outside our local area and wishes to lay-by a Click and Collect Only Item for a third party person (ie Son, Daughter, Grandchild) to collect, please contact us in-store via phone before creating an online lay-by to avoid automatic cancellation.

COLLECTION

Online lay-by’s can not be modified, as stated above. Online lay-by’s can be either collected in-store at our Kingaroy based store, or be shipped directly to the customer via Australia Post for a nominated postage fee. Lay-by’s can not be collected from any other location, this option is only available at our store in Kingaroy. Click and Collect Only Items will not be able to be posted under any circumstances; these items are clearly labelled as Click and Collect Only on the individual product page for each item, so please be mindful when making lay-by item selections. 

IDENTIFICATION

Our staff will require photo identification from customers when collecting online Lay-by’s in-store.

In-store Lay-by Terms and Conditions

DEPOSIT

Each new lay-by requires a 10% minimum deposit.

TERM

Lay-by is available on a 6-month term. Lay-by’s must be paid in full and collected by the finalisation date printed on the lay-by receipt. Lay-by’s not paid in full or collected by the finalisation date will be returned to stock.

PAYMENTS

In-store lay-by’s do not require set fortnightly repayments, however, a payment must be made at least every 30 days, or the lay-by may be cancelled.

MODIFICATION

Individual items can be added to and/or removed from in-store lay-by’s during the lay-by term at the customer’s request.

CANCELLATION

There is no cancellation fee for lay-by’s, however if a lay-by is not paid in full or collected by the finalisation date, or payments are not made as required, resulting in the lay-by being returned to
stock, our staff reserve the right to retain 10% of the total amount of the lay-by.

COLLECTION

Individual items may be paid for and collected from in-store lay-by’s prior to completion or finalisation of the lay-by, provided that a 10% deposit remains on the balance of the lay-by.

IDENTIFICATION

Our staff reserve the right to ask for photo identification from customers when collecting or cancelling in-store lay-by’s.

Any information attained by Kingaroy Toyworld about you or your purchases is confidential and will remain with us. We do not sell or distribute any of your personal information.

Kingaroy Toyworld reserves the right to decline a customer order and refund any monies paid in full.

Our website is hosted in Australia, and we are committed to providing our services online on a continual basis, however it can be expected that occasionally, due to unforeseeable circumstances, there may be interruptions to this service that are beyond our control.

Any alterations to details on our website, or to emails sent by our website staff, particularly in regard to pricing or special offers, will not be accepted or honoured. Activities such as alteration, falsification, or forgery of any Kingaroy Toyworld documents, files, or emails may be seen as fraudulent and appropriate actions will be taken.

PRICING

All transactions made through our website are processed in Australian Dollars, and are inclusive of GST.

We reserve the right to update our product prices at any time, this includes the correction of any topographical errors.

All prices shown are for a single item, unless otherwise stated. For illustration purposes, at times more than one item may be displayed in a single image.

Every effort is made on our behalf to ensure that all pricing and information displayed on our website is accurate, however sometimes errors will occur. Errors will be rectified promptly to the best of our ability.

AVAILABILITY

Our online inventory is updated as regularly as possible, however if a product you purchase is out of stock for any reason we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to arrange a suitable substitute, or alternatively a refund.

Occasionally, products shown on our website may sell out without notice. Products that are no longer available will be removed as soon as possible.

Our website serves as a guide to products that are generally available in store at Kingaroy Toyworld, however in some cases online and instore prices may differ.

All products are subject to store availability, as a result, the information on this website may change at any time and may not necessarily be correct or up to date at the time of your visit.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

We accept Credit Card payments, Paypal, Afterpay, and ZipPay payments only.

Payments are charged at the time of order, and all orders are to be paid in full prior to product despatch.

If an error occurs during the checkout process, we will contact you as soon as possible to resolve the issue, or alternatively cancel the sale and refund any monies paid.

We reserve the right to cancel or limit sales at any time.

DELIVERY

We offer both postage Australia wide, and Click and Collect instore options.

Our products are delivered Australia wide using Australia Post. Postage costs are influenced by the size and weight of your purchase, as well as your location. Exact postage costs will be calculated within our shopping cart feature and will be added to your order at the time of checkout.

All orders are typically despatched from our store within one week. If handling is expected to exceed this timeframe, you will be contacted by one of our friendly staff.

Click and Collect customers will be contacted within one week of their purchase to collect their order from our Kingaroy based store. Collection will only be available in Kingaroy. No delivery fee will be charged for Click and Collect purchases.

As we also sell products instore, some posted products may be marked with their original retail price ticket.

In the event of significant error in postage calculations, you will be contacted as soon as possible in order to advise you of the correct charges. At this time you may be offered a refund, or have the option to cancel your order.

Kingaroy Toyworld has no control or responsibility over your purchase once the order has been handed to Australia Post for despatch to your location.

At this stage we do not offer Express Postage services.

RETURNS

If you happen to change your mind, Kingaroy Toyworld will accept returns within 14 days with your original purchase receipt, provided that the product is unopened, unused, and its original packaging and condition. In these cases you will be offered an exchange or instore credit only.

However, if a product is faulty, not of acceptable or described quality, is not fit for its stated purpose, or does not match our description, Kingaroy Toyworld will offer an exchange, repair, replacement, or refund. Original purchase receipt must be presented for all returns.  

We reserve the right to return any product to the manufacturer’s nominated repair agent to assess the fault or issue.

We also reserve the right to refuse any return, where the item fault is deemed a result of misuse or neglect.

LAY-BYS

We now offer both In-store and Online Lay-by options. Please see our In-store Lay-by Terms and Conditions, and Online Lay-by Terms and Conditions pages for full Lay-by Terms and Conditions, as well as information about how to place an Online Lay-by with us.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

We respect the privacy of our customers, and as such any information collected on this website will be held with the utmost care and be kept strictly confidential.

Personal information will be used for the purpose of providing our products to you, for example your name and address are required for the safe delivery of your products.

Information will not be used in any way which you have not consented to, nor will any information be sold, rented, disclosed, or loaned.

Returns Policy

We offer both postage Australia wide, and Click & Collect in-store options.

We ask that all customers purchasing Click & Collect Only items contact our store in a timely fashion to arrange appropriate collection details.
